RPC Group plc's Cobelplast business has operations in Belgium and Italy.
Packaging giant RPC Group plc has agreed to sell its Cobelplast rigid sheet businesses in Belgium and Italy to unnamed buyers for an undisclosed sum.
The deal is expected to conclude by the end of this month.
RPC said in a statement to the London Stock Exchange that following the recent sale of its disposables trading business in Offenburg, Germany, the latest sell-offs represented the end of the divestment elements within RPC’s ‘Fitter for the Future’ project.
“Other elements of the ‘Fitter for the Future’ project continue to make good progress,” the company said, although it did not give any further details.
A spokesman for RPC said more information may emerge when the company issues its pre-close statement on Sept. 30. |
