T.O. Plastics Inc.’s Otsego, Minn., thermoforming facility has achieved a certificate of compliance from the American Institute of Baking, the company said.

T.O. Plastics produces custom thermoformed food packaging, including clamshells, deli containers, plastic trays and custom materials.

AIB compliance indicates the company operates in a clean, safe manner that is fit for producing food contact packaging materials, T.O. Plastics said.

“Successfully completing this rigorous independent inspection of our Otsego facility is a validation of the work we have done internally to assure the highest possible production standards for food packaging,” said T.O. Plastics President Mike Vallafskey in a statement. “It also gives our customers continued assurance that they can have total confidence in the quality and safety of our products."

T.O. Plastics makes thermoformed packaging and parts in the food, medical, industrial, recreational, consumer products and horticulture markets.
